RESPECT
EVERYONE
Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the
Maker of them all.
Proverbs 22:2 NIV
In this world people look each other by their status, titles and
positions in life. We tend to respect rich people more than the way we respect
poor ones. People who have monetary power tend to make all decisions even if
they don't have expertise in some field of life.
In the church we fail in the same trap of respecting some people
more and despising others. The Bible teaches us that God is no respecter of
persons. Our God looks us equally; He has given us Jesus that He may come to
save us all. (Acts 10:34)
The writer of the book of Proverbs says rich and poor have this in
common. The LORD is the Maker of them all. God created all of us, whether you
are rich or poor; He made us and one day all of us will meet together before
Him. He is going to judge us according to what we did in the flesh whether good
or bad.
This morning, I want to encourage you to respect all people in
your life. For young women who are waiting for husbands to marry them; they
need to stop focusing on money and start asking for God fearing men. Likewise
men should stop focusing on the outward appearances but asking for God fearing
women.
We need to learn to respect each other and love each other in
Christ Jesus. We need to learn to be kind to people in life because everyone is
having a tough in this life. Don't rush and judge people but ask the Lord to
give you wisdom to understand all people who come in your life every day.
****Morning
Prayer****
Pray this
prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Father, help me to respect all people who come in my life
knowing that we are equal before You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
