Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

Jacob was sent by his father Isaac to Laban the brother of his mother, to take a wife from one of his daughters.When the sun had set, he lay down a stone on his head and sleep.
The LORD appeared to him, reminding him about the covenant which He made with Abraham that he will give him, and his descendants the land of Canaan.
The same God who was with Abraham and Isaac now came to introduce Himself to Jacob, likewise it will be for you, if you will commit your ways to God while you are living.
God will be faithful to you by making sure that all ho will be called by your name i.e the generation after you, will be fed, clothed and protected from the evil one in all the days of their lives.

JEHOVAH God, am coming before You by the blood of Jesus.Giving You my life, and the lives of all people who will be called by my name into Your hands that You may be with them.In Jesus' Name, Amen.
